Events

The security regulations for concerts, shows, and sporting events in our venues have been modified in order to ensure a safe and enjoyable event experience.  Be prepared to arrive early at the venues in order to allow yourself enough time. In addition, we ask that you refrain from bringing in backpacks, larger bags (max. size A4), helmets, notebooks, tablets of other technical devices and bulky items. It is not possible to store these articles in our venues. Therefore, bring only those belongings which are totally necessary. Please adhere to the above regulations, otherwise access to the events will not be permitted. Thank you for supporting our efforts to provide you with an unforgettable event experience.
Admission normally begins 1 to 1.5 hours prior to the start of events.
The time of the event can be found on the purchased ticket.
Normally, the event finishes after 2.5 hours. Of course, some events are longer or shorter depending on the support programme.
This differs from event to event. Further information can be obtained directly from the organizer (details see ticket) approximately 1 week prior to the event.
Video and sound recording equipment, professional photographic equipment as well as SLR cameras are forbidden by the organizers.
The consumption of food or drinks brought to events is not permitted. There is an exception however, for guests who have to carry food or drink due to health reasons, provided they are in the possession of medical evidence. Also excluded from this ban is food for babies and toddlers. Food and drinks can be purchased before the event and during intervals in our gastronomic areas.
Children under 16 will only be able to attend in the company of a parent or guardian (as in accordance with the Youth Protection Law "JuSchG") parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring the supervision of their children. It is strictly prohibited to smoke inside the ARENA LEIPZIG! Inside the Red Bull Arena Leipzig and on the Festwiese Leipzig it is permitted to smoke.
Inside the ARENA LEIPZIG there are many cloakrooms where visitors may leave their jackets. There are no cloakrooms inside the Red Bull Arena Leipzig and on the Festwiese Leipzig.
This depends on the organizer. However, normally the visitors find merchandise stands.

There are allocated spaces for wheelchair users. Please inform us when you purchase your ticket if you are a wheelchair user or require space for one.
The ARENA LEIPZIG is a closed multi-use indoor arena that is of course heated. Our guests do not have to wrap up warm even during events such as "Holiday on Ice". During the summer months our hall is cooled but not air-conditioned. The Red Bull Arena Leipzig does not have a completely closed roof, however, almost all guests sitting in the upper and lower rows sit under the stadium's roof construction.

Direction

If your ticket has "LVB / MDV" printed on it, you are entitled to use public transport up to 4 hours prior to, and after an event within the zone 110 for free.
There are approximately 1100 parking spaces, with a further 1000 available for use during large-scale events. Further information can be found under the Arrival link in the menu on the left.
The following tram lines to the stadium can be used from the Main Railway Station: 3, 4, 7, 8, 15. The stop is "Waldstraße/Arena" or "Sportforum"

Tickets

Tickets are available under www.arena-ticket.com or by phone on +49 341 2341-100. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets directly at the ARENA LEIPZIG's Box Office (Friedrich-Ebert Straße) Opening times: Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM.Tickets can be paid for by cash or debit card.

Should an event be cancelled, generally tickets can be returned only to the place of purchase, unless the event organizer specifies a different return policy. Please look out for relevant information in the daily press and radio.

Accessibility

The QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA is accessible at ground level for wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities.

For wheelchair users there are barrier free seats available in blocks 1 and 16 - Lageplan Innenraum. We will of course provide an additional seat for an accompanying person next to the wheelchair user.

To book tickets for wheelchair users and severely disabled persons, including companion tickets if required, please call the hotline directly on +49 341 2341-100, write to us at ticketkauf{at}arena-ticket.com, visit the ARENA TICKET website, or simply come to our ticket office directly at the QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA (Am Sportforum 2, 04105 Leipzig) – map of ticket shop.

Please note that a disability card (with B) must be presented to purchase tickets for accompanying persons. Wheelchair spaces are not available for all concerts and shows through our ticket shop. We will be happy to provide you with event-specific information via our ticket shop hotline +49 341 2341 100.

For our guests with exceptional walking disabilities (aG) there are reserved and marked parking spaces in the Arena 1 car park. From there, you can reach the entrances at ground level. Wheelchair users should use the entrance next to the West entrance.

If arriving by public transport: From Leipzig Central Station, tram lines 3, 4, 7, 8, 14, and 15 take just seven minutes to reach the “Waldplatz/Arena” stop. The Waldplatz/Arena stop is wheelchair accessible.

DIRECTIONS QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA

Wheelchair users can access the QUARTERBACK Immobilioen ARENA via the entrance next to the West entrance. This is located on the west side of the ARENA and is barrier-free - area plan. Please have your disability card and your ticket ready for admission. 

Sadly, an early entry is not possible.

Spacious disabled toilets are located at ground level in blocks 4 and 13 – see the interior floor plan. Any of the open cloakrooms can be used for drop-off.

Nursing or diaper-changing rooms are located at ground level in blocks 4 and 13. - see the interior floor plan.

For safety reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to reserve seats in the interior or in other blocks for wheelchair users.

The seats for wheelchair users are accessible at ground level. An elevator is not required.
